In this role, you will sell, close new business and lead client relationships.
Strategize and plan to achieve quarterly revenue goals
Research and understand key opportunities in mobile advertising for long term growth
Execute strategy on a daily basis to hit sales targets
Plan, prepare, and lead strategic meetings with prospects and current clients
Continuously learn about changes in the ecosystem to identify and close new business
Guide new clients as they begin their first campaign with CrossChannel
Scale and grow existing accounts to their fullest potential
Attend relevant networking events to share the great things going on at CrossChannel.
Prospect daily for new customers by cold calling, networking, emails, etc.
Proactively manage prospecting timelines, deadlines and ensure follow through
Generate new and recurring sales by following up with necessary info quickly
Sell consultatively to ensure clients’ needs are met
Teach clients about CrossChannel’s products, features to maximize revenue
Proactively review campaigns to identify new business opportunities
Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to needs and any technical issues as efficiently as possible
Grow revenues through continuous up-sells and helping them achieve their goals
Ensure client documents are properly maintained
Work with the team to create the right pitch for potential new clients
Maintain Salesforce and/or other software daily
3+ years of a proven track record driving mobile and/or online advertising sales or affiliate marketing
A super strong network of active relationships amongst mobile marketers whether at ad agencies or with advertisers directly
Tangible experience as a strong revenue driver at current and previous roles
Ability to independently contribute to revenue growth by maintaining and growing existing accounts and simultaneously closing new ones
Experience leading, hiring, managing other sales staff a plus
Solid record of hitting and exceeding sales targets; ideally you’ve even won awards for your sales acumen.
Ideally, you’re highly knowledgeable about performance-based mobile or online marketing
An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Advertising is preferred
Highly methodical and organized; excellent communication skills
Proficiency with salesforce.com and MS Office
You’re not a hacker; but can read, understand and speak technical lingo
