Publisher Relations Manager

This is a role for a self-starter who is hard working, intelligent, can close deals and is passionate about mobile!
In this role, you will sell, close new business and lead client relationships.
You will work closely with our publishers to improve their eCPMs, their overall revenue and maximize the total impressions we can fill.
Proactively help and work with publisher partners; ensure they love working with CrossChannel!
Prospect daily for new customers by cold calling, networking, emails, etc.
Strategize and plan to achieve quarterly and yearly revenue goals
Manage multiple medium and large partners, ensuring integrations are set up smoothly.
Continuously optimize to improve eCPMs and grow the total number of impressions from partners.
Research and understand key publisher opportunities; hunt until they are captured.
Develop and execute a strategy on a daily basis to hit sales targets.
Plan, prepare, and lead strategic meetings with prospects and current clients.
Continuously learn about changes in the ecosystem to identify and close new publisher opportunities.
Guide new clients as they begin to serve CrossChannel’s ads.
Scale and grow existing accounts to their fullest potential.
Attend relevant networking events to share the great things going on at CrossChannel.
Proactively manage prospecting timelines, deadlines and ensure follow through.
Generate new and recurring sales by following up with necessary info quickly.
Sell consultatively to ensure clients’ needs are met.
Proactively review publisher accounts and inventory to identify new business opportunities.
Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to needs and any technical issues as efficiently as possible.
Ensure client documents are properly maintained.
Work with the team to create the right pitch for potential new clients.
Maintain Salesforce and/or other software daily.
2+ years of a proven track record driving mobile and/or online publisher sales.
2+years proving you love helping clients and have developed superb client service/relations skills.
A strong network of active relationships amongst the mobile developer community.
Tangible experience as a strong revenue driver at current and previous roles.
Ability to independently contribute to revenue growth by maintaining and growing existing clients and simultaneously closing new ones.
Solid record of hitting and exceeding sales targets; you’ve even won awards for your business development acumen.
You’re highly knowledgeable about performance-based mobile or online marketing
An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Advertising is preferred
Highly methodical and organized; excellent communication skills.
Proficiency with salesforce.com and MS Office. You’re super good at Excel.
You’re not a hacker; but can read, understand and speak technical lingo.
